Job summary

AltaPointe Health Systems is seeking a Behavioral Aide for its Adult Residential Services in Mobile, AL. This self-scheduling, full-time role supports adults with serious mental illness by providing daily living skills training, monitoring, and compassionate care within group homes.

You will document progress, assist with meals and transportation, follow safety procedures, and collaborate with the treatment team to promote community placement and reduce hospitalizations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 23 years or older.
• Valid Alabama driver license with proof of current liability insurance.
• Able to work 3, 12-hour shifts weekly (full-time) including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interact with residents, teaching basic living skills.
• Meet daily productivity standards for BLS services.
• Assist with personal care, medication, and transportation.
• Prepare meals and stock household items.
• Document services promptly per AltaPointe policy.
• Deescalate crises and follow safety procedures.
• Attend scheduled staff meetings and participate in QA.
• Maintain house cleanliness and assist others.
