Residential Assistant Supervisor (21270)

• Location: Onsite in NY, valid NY State Driver License required

Role Overview

As a Residential Assistant Supervisor, you will supervise staff providing daily therapeutic care and programming according to agency policies and standards. You will report to the Residential Supervisor and work onsite.

Responsibilities

• Supervise program activities aligned with treatment goals
• Evaluate and oversee residential staff performance
• Work assigned shifts, including days and evenings
• Model professional behavior for staff
• Maintain accurate records
• Train and develop residential staff
• Participate in staff meetings and training opportunities
• Implement and support treatment models and safety protocols
• Foster a family-friendly environment, involving families and respecting their concerns
• Ensure respectful treatment of youth, families, and the community
• Maintain the physical environment of the facility
• Develop schedules and evaluate youth referrals
• Participate in on-call and financial responsibilities
• Organize special events and coordinate client transportation
• Collaborate with clinical staff on treatment plans
• Assist in crisis intervention when needed

Minimum Requirements & Education

• Associate’s degree + 3 years of experience, or HS diploma + 5 years of experience
• Experience with vulnerable and adolescent populations
• Supervisory experience or ability to manage a residential unit
• Maintain TCI certification
• Valid driver’s license and meet insurability standards
• Pass physical exam
