Job summary

Bayside Fire in Owings, MD is seeking a hands-on Residential Assistant Superintendent to support on-site residential fire sprinkler installation. You will help manage field operations, coordinate piping crews, and ensure NFPA 13/13D/13R compliant installations, and uphold safety standards on each job site.

Responsibilities include supervising installation, coordinating daily field work with the Lead Superintendent and subcontractors, ensuring code compliance, and performing quality control

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years in fire protection construction or residential plumbing.
• Blueprint reading and NFPA 13/13D/13R knowledge.
• NICET II or OSHA-10/30 certification is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Position Summary

We seek a hands-on Assistant Superintendent to support on-site residential fire sprinkler installation. You will help manage field operations, coordinate piping crews, and ensure all wet and dry fire protection systems are installed safely, efficiently, and up to code.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise installation of residential fire sprinkler piping, valves, and heads.
• Coordinate daily field work alongside the Lead Superintendent and subcontractors.
• Ensure code compliance with NFPA standards and local building regulations.
• Conduct quality control checks and pressure tests on installed systems.
• Enforce OSHA safety rules and maintain a clean, hazard-free job site.
• Track daily progress and manage on-site material staging.

Qualifications
