Job summary

Bayside Fire Protection, LLC is seeking an experienced Sprinkler Service Technician to join our growing team in Owings Mills, MD. You will inspect, test, service, troubleshoot, and repair fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA standards and local codes.

Responsibilities include performing sprinkler inspections, testing, dry system testing, repairing leaks, and maintaining reports and equipment. You will provide excellent customer service and uphold Bayside Fire Protection’s standards on

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of fire sprinkler service experience.
  • Experience inspecting, testing, maintaining, and repairing commercial sprinkler systems.
  • Working knowledge of NFPA 13, 13R, 20, 25 and local codes.
  • NICET Level I certification required or actively pursuing.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to pass background check and obtain DOT Medical Card.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work from ladders or lifts.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fire sprinkler systems per NFPA and codes.
  • Perform sprinkler inspections, testing, and annual flow tests on fire pumps.
  • Carry out dry system trip testing and diagnose leaks.
  • Repair dry pipe valves and related equipment; investigate air leaks.
  • Identify deficiencies and suggest corrective actions.
  • Prepare accurate inspection reports, service documentation, and work orders.
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in safe, professional condition.
  • Provide excellent customer service while representing Bayside Fire Protection.

Bayside Fire Protection, LLC is seeking an experienced and motivated Sprinkler Service Technician to join our growing team. Responsibilities

The Sprinkler Service Technician will be responsible for the inspection, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA standards and local codes. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform sprinkler system inspections and testing.
  • Conduct fire pump inspections and annual flow tests.
  • Perform dry system trip testing.
  • Diagnose and repair sprinkler system leaks.
  • Troubleshoot and repair dry pipe valves and related equipment.
  • Investigate and repair air leaks in dry sprinkler systems.
  • Identify deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Complete accurate inspection reports, service documentation, and work orders.
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in a safe and professional manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service while representing Bayside Fire Protection.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of fire sprinkler service experience preferred.
  • Experience performing inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs on commercial fire sprinkler systems.
  • Working knowledge of NFPA 13, 13R, 20, 25, and applicable local fire codes.
  • NICET Level I Certification required, or actively pursuing certification.
    • Candidates actively pursuing NICET Level I must obtain certification within six (6) months of hire.
    • Bayside Fire Protection will cover the cost of NICET testing.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background investigation.
  • DOT Medical Card, or the ability to obtain one upon hire.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work from ladders, lifts, rooftops, and other elevated work areas.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
