SOME (So Others Might Eat) in Washington, DC, is seeking a Residential Assistant to monitor residents and ensure safety in a housing facility. The role supports treatment goals, recovery, and daily operations within a residential setting, with an essential schedule Monday through Friday, 4:00 pm–12:00 am.
Required HS/GED and 3–5 years in social services, plus CPR/First Aid; preferred Associate's Degree and 5+ years. Valid driver's license is a plus.

The Residential Assistant provides monitoring and oversight to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of residents and the overall housing facility.
Monday - Friday, 4:00 pm - 12:00 am (40 hours per week); This position is an essential position.
HS/GED; 3-5 yrs experience in social services; experience providing services in addictions or mental health treatment
Associate's Degree; 5 + yrs experience in social services; experience providing services in addictions or mental health treatment, Valid Driver's License.
CPR/First Aid
This position is in a residential setting and may or may not include individual heating and air conditioning controls. This residential setting may or may not include a window.
Clinical Director, IOP
This position is designated as Safety Sensitive. You may be subject to drug testing before or during your employment with SOME. In this position, you may be disqualified from employment based on the presence of marijuana in test results, even if you possess a medical card authorizing the use of medical marijuana.
Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds. May be required to sit or stand for long periods. Must be able to walk up and down stairs.
