Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least three years of work experience as a Residential Aide or in a client-facing role at a social services organization.

Responsibilities

• The RAS supervises five Residential Aides and ensures coverage during shifts.
• Build rapport with program clients and engage with them professionally and respectfully.
• De-escalate tense situations when necessary.
• Ensure safety, security and integrity of residents and the facility.
• Conduct periodic facility walk-throughs and train staff in policies and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain confidentiality.
• Communicate with clinical staff on resident behavior and care of those on the fragile list.
• Enforce the Residential Code of Conduct and House Rules.
• Participate in advocacy to address homelessness and HIV/AIDS.
