Job summary

Adams and Associates at the Brunswick Job Corps Center in Georgia is seeking a Residential Advisor who will guide and mentor students, helping them develop the right attitudes and behaviors while living on campus. You will supervise dorm life, promote safety, and support student success through structured activities.

The role emphasizes modeling positive leadership, maintaining organized files and records, and collaborating with counselors and staff to ensure a supportive, family-like community

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of one year of Job Corps or related program experience
• Ability to lift 40 pounds, or to assess a load and request assistance as needed
• Willingness to work overtime with regular and predictable attendance

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance that helps students build a positive attitude and proper behavior in dormitory living and accomplish their goals.
• Patrol and monitor dormitories and the Center as required, ensuring the safety and proper behavior of students and resolving potential or occurring problems.
• Prepare the daily operations report, pass list, and other administrative correspondence relating to students.
• Participate in the career development services system by ensuring a safe living environment and modeling appropriate behaviors, mentoring students, and monitoring behavior through interventions.
