Job summary

Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center in Saint Paul, MN seeks a Regular/Hourly Independent Living staff member to support residential dorm operations. The role covers evening hours, supervising students and ensuring safety and decorum in either the Female Dorm or Male Dorm.

Qualifications

Our ILAs provide guidance to students in the dormitories and help them gain the life skills needed for achievement in the program, employment and self-sufficiency. At the Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center, operated by Education and Training Resources (ETR), we have creative and caring staff who help our students realize their potential.

MAIN DUTIES:

• Foster effective group living relations and promote a positive atmosphere

WORK SCHEDULE

Full-time working 3:00 pm to midnight in Female Dorm on Thursday through Monday (off Tuesday and Wednesday) OR in Male Dorm on Friday through Tuesday (off Wednesday and Thursday)

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or GED; valid Minnesota driver's license with acceptable driving record; and ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, reach and climb stairs; residential experience in a dormitory or group home preferred

PAY AND BENEFITS:

$23.50 per hour plus 12 paid holidays; paid vacation and sick time; 401(k) with match; and medical, dental and vision insurance
