Job summary

Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center in Saint Paul, MN seeks a Regular/Hourly Independent Living staff member to support residential dorm operations. The role covers evening hours, supervising students and ensuring safety and decorum in either the Female Dorm or Male Dorm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Minnesota driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach and climb stairs.
• Residential experience in a dormitory or group home preferred.

Responsibilities

• Foster effective group living relations and promote a positive atmosphere.
• Assure accountability of students, maintain records and report incidents.
• Direct and assist with activities and engage with students.
• Perform room inspections and assist with cleaning and sanitizing.
• Serve as a role model; mentor and monitor students.
