Residential Advisor Part Time
Location: Asheville, NC

Schedule:

• Saturday & Sunday 8 am – 4 pm
• 16 hours per week

Salary: $17.00 per hour and increases based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Provides relationship-oriented coaching and support to residents in attaining their goals
• Assures the health and safety of residents, responds immediately to concerns, and completes check-ins
• Participates and encourages participation of residents in recreational, social, and cultural activities
• Facilitates spontaneous social experiences for residents who are not participating in scheduled activities
• Supports residents with room cleaning and helps out in general with the cleaning of common areas of the building
• Transports residents to scheduled appointments as needed
• Is a first responder for on-call services in the evening hours
• Responsible for documentation for assigned residents

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience working with individuals whose lives are impeded by mental illness
• 21 years or older with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record to be on the organization’s auto insurance
