Job summary

Allied Universal in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Access Desk Operations to monitor entry points, verify visitor access, respond to alarms, and document security activities at a residential community.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per laws; post-employment drug screen may apply.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by following security procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify entry authorization, and keep visitor and contractor records.
• Observe traffic at gates, communicate access concerns, deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond calmly to incidents and document activities for required personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of residential areas, entrances, parking, and perimeters.
