As a supervisor for Personal Care Specialists, you will help develop service plans, monitor safety, and uphold home health protocols, CPR readiness, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Meet health-related requirements.
• Maintain LPN/LVN license and CPR certification as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Administer or assist residents to self-administer medications and treatments.
• Measure vital signs and weight.
• Collect, store, and transport specimens for laboratory studies.
• Adhere to medication room policies; communicate with physicians and implement orders.
• Ensure data is scanned and filed in resident charts; document in Nursing Notes.
• Communicate with Wellness Director per policy.
• Adhere to home health and hospice protocols; follow emergency protocols including CPR.
• Act as community supervisor when management staff is not present; supervise Personal Care Specialists.
• Assist in development and revision of service plans; report resident needs to Wellness Director.
• Read logs and shift notes; update pertinent information.
