Job summary

McFarland Villa Assisted Living seeks a Wellness Coordinator to supervise Wellness staff, deliver direct resident care as needed, and uphold community wellness programs under the direction of the Wellness Director and Executive Director.

Qualifying candidates will hold current licensing/certification, have at least one year of experience in health care or assisted living, and preferably have prior supervisory experience; CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• Current license/certification as required by regulatory bodies.
• Minimum of one year experience in assisted living or health care.
• Prior supervisory experience in the health care environment strongly preferred.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides hands-on supervision of Wellness staff and ensures quality resident care.
• Provides direct care services to residents as needed, ensuring health and safety.
• Supports community policies and programs with Wellness Director and Executive Director.
• Participates in staff development and education for Wellness staff.
