Job summary

The Pearl at Watkins Centre seeks an Activities Director (Program and Outreach Director) to lead a resident-centered activities and outreach program aligned with the Phoenix Senior Living philosophy. This role reports to the Executive Director and drives wellness across emotional, social, physical, and intellectual dimensions.

Responsibilities include PSP development, staff training, and coordinating resident engagement initiatives to enhance quality of life for residents.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher related to elderly services.
• 1–3 years’ experience in senior living activity & event planning.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Knowledge of Assisted Living industry and Dementia care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee a resident-centered activities and outreach program.
• Maintain PSL Activity & Program Guidebook and track resident participation.
• Organize small groups or clubs based on residents' demographics and needs.
• Assist residents to and from activity rooms and life skills activities.
• Schedule and document monthly resident council.
