Job summary

The Phoenix at Milton, part of Phoenix Senior Living, seeks an Activities Director to develop and oversee resident-centered activity and outreach programs promoting wellness in all life areas.

The role reports to the Executive Director and requires an Associate degree with 1–3 years in senior living activity planning, plus strong leadership. Knowledge of Assisted Living and Dementia care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field is preferred.
• 1–3 years’ experience in senior living activity planning or event planning.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Knowledge and experience in Assisted Living industry and Dementia care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the Personal Service Plans (PSP).
• Refers to the Resident Profile and addendum for every new resident.
• Ensure a variety of personalized activities incorporating wellness across all dimensions.
• Maintains the PSL Activity & Program Guidebook and tracks resident interest daily.
• Organize small groups or clubs using resident demographics and preferences.
