The Pearl at Watkins Centre is seeking an Activities Director to lead a resident-centered activities and outreach program aligned with Phoenix Senior Living philosophy. The role encompasses wellness across emotional, social, physical, intellectual and spiritual dimensions and may include hiring support for an Assistant Director.

Education includes an associate degree and 1–3 years in senior living activity planning; leadership is essential.

Formación

• Education: Associate degree in related field preferred.
• 1–3 years’ experience in senior living/activity & event planning.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Knowledge/experience in Assisted Living and Dementia care preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Participates in the Personalized Service Plans (PSP).
• Refers to the Resident Profile and addendum for every new resident.
• Ensure a variety of activities incorporating wellness across the day with staff participation.
• Maintains the PSL Activity & Program Guidebook and tracks resident participation daily.
• Uses resident demographics to organize small groups or clubs addressing needs and preferences.
• Recognizes changes in resident condition and takes appropriate action.
• Assist residents to and from activity room and during Life Skills activities in memory care.
• Maintain inventory of activity and programming supplies and equipment.
• Schedule, coordinate, facilitate and record monthly resident Council.
