Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in Long Term Care Activities Department is preferred.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition & enthusiasm.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing & evaluating activity programs for the facility.
• Observe resident attendance, mood, behavior, and involvement; document progress.
• Create a warm, calm environment and good rapport with other departments.
• Prepare activity rooms and arrange supplies for scheduled programs.
• Follow care plans to provide meaningful daily activities for residents.
