Qualifications

• Experience in Long Term Care Activities Department is preferred.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition & enthusiasm.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Responsabilités

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing & evaluating activity programs in the Activities Department.
• Observe resident attendance, mood, behavior, and involvement to evaluate progress.
• Develop and maintain rapport with other departments to ensure activities run without interruption.
• Prepare activity rooms and arrange equipment and supplies as needed.
• Follow care plans when providing daily activities and assist residents with crafts and errands.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and treat residents with dignity at all times.
