Job summary

Aperion Care is seeking an Activity Assistant/Aide to support planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, and therapeutic programs for residents. You will observe participation, mood, and engagement to document progress and ensure quality care within the Activities Department.

Work closely with other departments, prepare activity spaces, and maintain supplies while adhering to care plans and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing & evaluating activity programs.
• Observe resident participation, mood, behavior to evaluate progress and document findings.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure activities run smoothly.
• Prepare activity areas and procure supplies as needed for the activities department.
• Follow the care plan to provide daily activities for residents.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and treat residents with dignity.
• Oversee residents during scheduled activities to promote well-being.
• Assist in-room residents with visits, crafts, and errands.
