Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities in the United States is seeking a Transportation/Maintenance Assistant to provide safe, timely transportation for residents to activities and medical appointments, as well as assist the Property Maintenance Technician with general building upkeep. This role supports a welcoming environment for staff and residents.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and basic knowledge of building

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License with excellent driving record.
• General knowledge of building maintenance and common tools is required.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Motor coordination and depth perception for driving and using tools.
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
• Must be able and willing to work flexible hours.
• Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors, and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely transportation for residents to activities, events, and medical appointments.
