Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate degree is preferred.
• Two to three years of applicable experience required.
• Valid class B commercial driver's license is required.
• Must have a clean driving record, no traffic violations.

Responsibilities

• Drive residents safely to scheduled destinations. Track assigned pick-ups and drop offs to ensure timely service.
• Assist residents in and out of the vehicles as warranted.
• Provide for high level of resident engagement.
• Create, plan, and coordinate all routes for maximum efficiency and service.
• Maintain cleanliness and safe operating condition of the bus and automobiles; schedule maintenance as necessary.
• Develop driver schedules to meet demand; determine vehicle choice and driver assignments for trips.
• Provide hands-on training to new drivers; retraining as assigned.
