Job summary

Inspir Senior Living in Washington, DC is seeking a Transportation Coordinator/Chauffer for a full-time, on-site role to support residents by coordinating transportation and driving residents to medical appointments, activities, and errands. You will read the daily schedule, adapt to unscheduled needs, perform vehicle inspections, and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

Must have a valid CDL driver's license and a clean driving record.
Experience in a driving position is preferred.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

Transports community residents to and from medical appointments, activities, and shopping errands using the community owned vehicle.
Reads the transportation schedule daily and ensures all scheduled appointments can be met.
Flexible for unscheduled transportation needs in an emergency.
Monitors resident activity and alerts staff when assistance is necessary to assure resident safety.
Performs routine vehicle inspection checks and informs management of maintenance or safety issues.
Familiar with fire, missing persons, and other emergency procedures; follows community policy.
