Job summary

Riverside Health in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to oversee all facility transportation operations. You will lead a team of transportation staff, drive as lead driver, handle scheduling and payroll, maintain vehicles, and ensure regulatory compliance with licensure requirements.

You will report monthly statistics and costs, work with other departments to enhance resident mobility, and drive continuous improvement in service quality for residents and customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associates Degree in Healthcare or related field is preferred.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• First Aid certification required.
• Valid CDL is required.
• Valid Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation staff and act as lead driver.
• Schedule payroll/timekeeping and vehicle maintenance; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Staffing, onboarding and performance management of transportation team members.
• Focus on improving efficiency and services for residents' mobility.
• Report monthly statistics and transportation expenses; manage transportation budget.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide services and support as needed.
• Maintain all facility vehicles and keep maintenance/compliance records.
