Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Possess an unencumbered driver’s license.
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
• Excellent communication skills are needed.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Knowledge of equipment, policies, procedures, and safety strategies for transport.
• CPR certification current or within 90 days of employment.
• Must read, write and speak English clearly.
• Must demonstrate patience, tact, and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from arranged locations.
• Follow safety and traffic regulations while operating vehicles.
• Conduct monthly vehicle checks and report malfunctions.
• Maintain order and cleanliness inside the vehicle during transit.
• Assist with resident pickups and drop-offs according to schedule.
• Attend community outings as directed by Administrator.
