Job summary

Dial is seeking a dedicated Driver to provide safe transportation for residents in Moline, IL. You will transport residents to scheduled appointments and activities, ensuring their safety during loading, travel, and entry into facilities.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service and accurate record-keeping. Applicants must have a CDL license (Class B or C if applicable to bus services) and be at least 21 years old, with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Class B or C CDL license, if driving applicable bus.
• Chauffer’s license, if required by state.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to and from medical appointments and other locations, communicating effectively with residents.
• Ensure the safety of the residents as they enter and exit the vehicle.
• Assist residents with walking aids when entering and exiting the vehicle.
• Provide a high level of customer service at all times.
• Maintain records of resident appointments and submit to office for monthly billing per established procedures.
• Notify supervisor of any mechanical problems/deficiencies of the vehicle.
• Report any concerns of the resident’s well-being to supervisor or Executive Director.
• Maintain vehicle in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
