Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of experience with the elderly or related population.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to obtain a Food Handler’s card within 60 days of hire.
• Valid Oregon driver’s license and access to personal vehicle insurance.
• Knowledge of Native American culture is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe transportation for residents to events, trips, and meetings.
• Assists in the Recovery House as needed and supports staff.
• Helps Safety Techs with other duties as assigned.
• Keeps vehicles clean on a weekly basis.
• Reports resident concerns to the Recovery House Manager immediately.
• Ensures residents are safe during transports and at appointments.
• Transports residents to medical appointments and recovery meetings as needed.
• Documents all transportations and incidents in required paperwork.
• Coordinates with the Recovery House Program Manager on duties as needed.
• May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
