Job summary

The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde in Sheridan, Oregon seeks a Security/Recovery Housing Attendant to manage day-to-day flow of residents, monitor areas, and maintain a safe, clean environment supporting holistic health.

Requires HS diploma or GED, two years public-facing or security experience, and recovery sobriety if applicable. Responsibilities include opening/closing, safety drills, paperwork, and transporting residents as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience in a public-facing role or security; includes facilities maintenance.
• If recovering, must provide sobriety for at least two years.
• Experience with addiction issues.
• Equivalent education, training and experience allowed.

Responsibilities

• Secure facilities with opening/closing duties and ensure a safe environment for staff and residents.
• Monitor patient-facing areas for diversion or loitering.
• Provide a welcoming, clean, and safe environment for residents to engage in recovery activities.
• Develop rapport with clients and answer questions regarding recovery house operations.
• Inform residents of site rules and safety protocols.
• Attend debrief meetings on client safety and contribute to solutions.
• Serve on Safety Committee and conduct safety drills for staff.
• Perform basic janitorial and maintenance duties for Tribal facilities and furniture.
