Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities in Wisconsin is hiring a Transportation/Maintenance Assistant to provide safe, timely, and courteous transportation for residents to activities, functions, and medical appointments. You will also assist the Property Maintenance Technician with building upkeep across the community.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and excellent driving record.
• General knowledge of building maintenance and common tools is required.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Motor coordination and depth perception is required for various work routines such as driving the van and working with tools.
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
• Must be able and willing to work flexible hours.
• Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors, and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely, and courteous transportation for residents to activities, functions, and medical appointments.
• Assist the Property Maintenance Technician with general building maintenance throughout the community.
