Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Transportation/Maintenance Assistant to provide safe, timely, and courteous transportation for residents to activities, functions, and medical appointments. The role also supports the Property Maintenance Technician with general building upkeep across the community.

We're seeking a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver's license with an excellent driving record, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and excellent driving record.
• General knowledge of building maintenance and common tools is required.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Motor coordination and depth perception is required for various work routines such as driving the van and working with tools.
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
• Must be able and willing to work flexible hours.
• Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors, and co-workers.
