Otterbein SeniorLife in Ohio is seeking a Transport/Housekeeper to operate community vehicles and transport residents and partners safely and efficiently. The role emphasizes person‑centered care and teamwork with residents, families, and fellow partners.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid Ohio driver’s license, and at least three years of driving experience. You may also help with housekeeping when not driving.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license required.
• Three years of car/small van driving or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operates cars, passenger vans, and small cargo vehicles to transport passengers.
• Inspects, services, and cleans vehicles.
• Interacts with residents, family members, visitors and other partners respectfully.
• Replenishes fuel in vehicles after use.
• Maintains vehicles and ensures preventative maintenance is up to date.
• Performs routine cleaning in service areas and transportation spaces.
• Assist with housekeeping duties when not on transports.
• Performs maintenance duties as assigned.
