Gallup Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a Transportation Driver to coordinate and provide safe transport for residents to and from physician appointments under licensed nursing supervision.

Responsibilities include organizing trips by priority, documenting resident status during transport, reporting changes to clinical staff, and adhering to applicable state Nurse Aide requirements and CPR/BLS certification.

Formación

• Certified Nurse Aide in the state.
• Completed State Approved Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program; name must appear on State Registry as Nurse Aide in good standing.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsabilidades

• Organizes transportation of residents to complete required appointments based on priority of resident needs.
• Transports residents to and from inpatient and outpatient programs and to and from appropriate facilities and residences.
• Develops driving schedule based on residents' scheduled medical appointments and program destinations; provides transportation of current or new residents from hospital after discharge.
• Provides report, information, and assessment of residents' behavior or change of condition during transportation; reports changes of abnormal findings in resident status to clinical supervisor.
• Other duties and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
