Job summary

Confidential: Healthcare Facility is seeking a Full-Time Transportation Aide/Driver in Myerstown, PA to transport residents between hospital and facility and to appointments. The role features a Monday–Friday schedule with flexible hours and occasional weekend availability based on resident needs.

The position requires a PA driver’s license, strong interpersonal skills, and comfort assisting residents with mobility. CNA certification is preferred, and computer experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.
• Ability to assist residents with mobility needs safely and respectfully.
• Previous experience transporting seniors or working in a healthcare setting preferred.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Previous computer experience required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule resident transport needs.
• Safely transport residents to and from hospital or other medical locations using a facility-provided vehicle.
• Provide courteous, hands-on assistance to residents entering and exiting the vehicle.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning vehicle at all times.
• Coordinate closely with nursing, admissions, and administrative staff to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.
• Uphold a strong commitment to resident safety, dignity, and comfort.
