Job summary

People Powered in Myerstown, PA is seeking a dedicated Transportation Aide/Driver for full-time work, primarily Monday–Friday with flexible hours. You will safely transport residents from hospital to facility and to scheduled appointments, ensuring comfort and dignity throughout the journey.

The role requires a PA driver’s license, a professional demeanor, and a willingness to assist residents with mobility needs. CNA is preferred, and computer experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a warm, professional demeanor.
• Ability to assist residents with mobility needs in a respectful and safe manner.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Previous experience transporting seniors or working in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Previous computer experience required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule resident transport needs.
• Safely transport residents to and from hospital or other medical locations using a facility-provided vehicle.
• Provide courteous, hands‑on assistance to residents entering and exiting the vehicle.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑functioning vehicle at all times.
• Coordinate with nursing, admissions, and administrative staff to ensure timely pickups and drop‑offs.
• Uphold a strong commitment to resident safety, dignity, and comfort.
