Job summary

Victory Human Services in Boston, MA is seeking a Residential Counselor to develop ISPs and provide direct care and training to residents. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, implementing behavior plans, and supporting community-based activities.

The position requires teamwork, CPR and MAP-related certifications within specified timelines, and strong communication skills. The role involves lifting up to 100 lbs, coordinating with staff and families, and ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• GED or equivalent required.
• CPR certification preferred; MAP certification within 90 days of hire.
• Must pass CORI/background checks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• English fluency; bilingual in Spanish, Haitian, or Cape Verdean languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and provide direct care to residents.
• Assist with personal cares and daily living activities.
• Implement behavior plans and medical protocols; support vocational activities.
• Provide supervision and ensure safety during activities; transportation to appointments.
