Job summary

Charles River Center seeks a Residential Counselor to provide direct care and supervision for residents in a group home in Stoughton, MA. The role includes developing ISPs, coordinating daily living activities, and ensuring safety and dignity for residents.

The position requires prior experience with individuals with developmental disabilities, a GED or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license. Training in First Aid/CPR, medication administration, and safety procedures is provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision for residents, including personal care and daily living activities.
• Develop, implement, and review Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and monitor progress.
• Transport residents to activities and medical appointments and manage housing-related rules.
• Utilize Positive Behavioral Supports to promote resident wellbeing and safety.
• Complete required documentation and reporting per agency policies.
• Lead weekly house meetings on recreation, meals, and house rules.
