Qualifications

• Education: GED or equivalent.

• Valid driver’s license.
• Successful completion of state and agency-mandated training: First Aid/CPR, DDS Medication Administration, Safety Care/Legal, DPPC/Human Rights/Universal Precautions, New Hire Orientation ( CORE Curriculum).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision in medical, dental, personal care, social and communication skills, meal preparation and home management.
• Assist with ISPs, track progress, and ensure housing rules compliance.
• Transport residents to activities and medical appointments; use Positive Behavioral Supports.
• Complete documentation per agency policies; lead weekly house meetings; maintain financial records.
• Awake Overnight Counselors provide health monitoring and housekeeping, with limited overtime.
• Follow DDS and CRC regulations on behavior management, emergency interventions and work policy.
