Job summary

Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Resident Services Coordinator to enhance resident engagement within our Highland Springs community. You will respond to residents in need of psychosocial or supportive services and conduct assessments to determine residency levels.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of social work experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with seniors.
• Knowledge of geriatric population and dementia preferred.
• State regulations may apply and take precedence over the job description.

Responsibilities

• Respond to residents in need of psychosocial or supportive services via direct referral or incident reports.
• Conduct assessments of potential residents.
• Recommend appropriate levels of residency.
• Assess and resolve issues regarding residents’ care and safety.
• Develop referral networks within the community for available services.
• Educate residents on Advanced Directives and completion of documents.

How you will make an impact

• Responding to residents in need of psychosocial or supportive services, through direct referral or by the review of incident reports

• Educating residents in the importance of Advanced Directives and completion of documents

What you will need

Minimum of 3 years of social work experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in senior setting. Knowledge of the geriatric population and dementia is preferred. Please note that specific state regulations and requirements may be applicable. These regulations take precedence over the requirements outlined in the job description.

Compensation: Commensurate upon experience starting at 60,000 Annually
