Job summary

Essential Staffing Solutions (ESS) is seeking an Assistant Manager to handle rent posting, delinquency follow-up, PO and invoice processing, and general duties as assigned by the Community Manager. The role ensures continuity of operations in the Community in the Community Manager's absence.

The candidate should have strong customer service skills, two years in multi-family housing, and familiarity with Yardi.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in the multi-family apartment industry.
• Experience in dealing with customers or the public.
• Leasing/customer service and collection experience helpful.
• Previous management experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Post rent and payments in Yardi accurately.
• Ensure residents can pay online, electronically, and via WIPS.
• Follow IPM policy for late payments and contact delinquent residents.
• Make bank deposits daily.
• Inform residents of NSF checks within 24 hours; follow up in 48 hours.
• File evictions and attend court dates.
• Conduct move-out inspections in Yardi.
• Prepare month-end accounting reports.
