Job summary

Mercy Housing is seeking a Desk Clerk to deliver front-desk service and visitor management on-site in San Francisco. The role involves resident interaction, information transmission, and coordinating with the Property team to ensure safety and order.

The position is full-time with a swing shift (3pm–11pm). Candidates should have a High school diploma or equivalent and general office experience. We encourage applicants with lived experience to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or front desk/office environment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use phone systems.
• Strong communication and organization abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate visitor logs and monitor access to the complex.
• Provide courteous information and assistance to residents and visitors.
• Answer phones and relay messages; coordinate with Property Manager.
• Conduct regular security checks and patrols as scheduled.
• Escalate emergencies to appropriate authorities and teams.
