Job summary

NHE, Inc. is seeking a Resident Service Coordinator in Knoxville, TN to educate, support, and connect residents in affordable housing with resources and services for independent living and aging in place.

You will coordinate services, monitor outcomes, and liaise with providers to ensure quality referrals and strong resident engagement. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, relationship-building, and independent decision-making in a supportive housing environment with travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a social service related field or HUD-required work experience.
• Knowledge of elderly and disability services and referral processes.
• 2–3 years of social service delivery experience; bilingual skills are assets.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive, non-clinical assessments of residents for wellness and social needs.
• Help residents identify, access, and coordinate services, monitoring of services and follow-up with providers.
• Monitor receipt of services and encourage resident engagement with providers.
• Develop and arrange educational and preventative health programs for residents.
• Develop partnerships with aging agencies and community-based providers.
• Maintain an up-to-date resource directory of local service providers.
• Communicate professionally within the property management team.
