Job summary

NHE, Inc. in Bethesda, MD is seeking a Resident Service Coordinator to educate residents, connect them with referrals, and support aging in place in Affordable/HUD-subsidized housing.

You will liaison between residents, service providers, and property management to coordinate non-clinical services and follow up. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in social services (or HUD-equivalent), 2–3 years of social service delivery, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a social service-related field or HUD-approved equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of elderly and disability services, referral processes, and community resources.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive, non-clinical assessments of residents for wellness and social needs.
• Help residents identify, access, and coordinate services.
• Encourage resident engagement and participation in service management.
• Develop educational and preventative health programs.
• Maintain partnerships with agencies and community providers.
• Maintain an up-to-date directory of community resources.
• Demonstrate professionalism and customer service.
