Job summary

Mutual Housing California is seeking a Resident Service Coordinator at our Sacramento site to support residents with housing stability, benefits, budgeting, and referrals. You will collaborate with property management and community partners to connect residents with services and leadership opportunities.

The role requires 1+ year in social services, cultural competency, strong communication, and the ability to maintain documentation and service plans.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in social services (property-based experience a plus).
• Cultural competency and experience working in diverse, low-income communities.
• Strong communication, judgment, and relationship-building skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills; CPR/First Aid & food safety certs (provided).
• Driver’s license required.
• Must pass criminal background screening, including education verification and DMV check.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with housing stability, public benefits, budgeting, and referrals.
• Provide mediation, crisis support, and coordination with Property Management.
• Build relationships with residents and host community-building activities.
• Connect residents with local programs, services, and leadership opportunities.

Position: Resident Service Coordinator

Location: Mutual Housing on the Boulevard - Sacramento, CA 95824

Hours: 30+ Hours per week

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Compensation: $23.00 per hour

Job Summary:

Our Resident Services team connects Mutual Housing affordable housing residents with opportunity through a wide range of direct services and community building strategies. Resident Service Coordinators (RSCs) are responsible for providing a variety of services that promote these goals.

• Provide mediation, crisis support, and coordination with Property Management
• Build relationships with residents and host community-building activities
• Connect residents with local programs, services, and leadership opportunities
• Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and service plans
