Job summary

Mutual Housing California in Davis, CA is hiring a Resident Services Coordinator to support residents with housing stability, benefits, budgeting, and referrals. The role requires mediation, coordination with property management, and organizing community-building activities.

You will connect residents with local programs, document services, and help empower resident leaders through proactive engagement. This is a full-time, on-site position with 40+ hours/week and a pay of $25.13/hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 3 years of housing-based social services experience or higher education with 2 years in housing-based services.
• Bilingual ability is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in diverse, low-income communities with cultural competency.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with housing stability, public benefits, budgeting, and referrals.
• Provide mediation, crisis support, and coordination with Property Management.
• Build relationships with residents and host community-building activities.
• Connect residents with local programs, services, and leadership opportunities.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and service plans.

Location: Davis, CA, this role will be located at Moore Village & the Westerner Properties, potentially others in Sacramento County
Hours: 40+ Hours per week
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Compensation: $25.13 per hour

Job Summary:

Our Resident Services team connects Mutual Housing affordable housing residents with opportunity through a wide range of direct services and community building strategies. Resident Services Coordinators (RSCs) are responsible for providing a variety of services that promote these goals.

Responsibilities:

• Support residents with housing stability, public benefits, budgeting, and referrals
• Provide mediation, crisis support, and coordination with Property Management
• Build relationships with residents and host community-building activities
• Connect residents with local programs, services, and leadership opportunities
• Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and service plans

Qualifications:

• High School Degree and 3 years of housing-based social services experience or associate, bachelor, specialized certificate, or master's degree and 2 years of housing-based social services
• Secondary language is preferred but not required
• Cultural competency and experience working in diverse, low-income communities
• Strong communication, judgment, and relationship-building skills
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• CPR/First Aid, Food Safety, and Mandated Reporter certs (provided)
