Job summary

SRG Residential in Palo Alto is seeking a Resident Services Coordinator for our Stanford West Apartments community (628 units). This full-time role requires delivering personalized service to residents, greeting guests, and maintaining a positive relationship with the community.

Workdays are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM. The ideal candidate has at least one year of excellent customer service, strong written and verbal communication, and experience with resident engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of excellent customer service experience.
• Ability to pass fair housing exam.
• Experience with file audits, resident engagement is required.
• Ability to work weekends and overtime as job requires.
• Knowledge of operations software used at the property level (Outlook, Internet, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects, guests and visitors as they arrive at the community.
• Provide a personalized experience with emphasis on care and convenience for residents.
• Engage with residents and maintain positive relationships while meeting expectations.
• Respond to resident complaints professionally and timely, ensuring resolution.
• Act as the communications hub sharing community happenings via the portal and postings.
• Plan, promote and deliver resident events and activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve resident happiness and service.

Sares Regis Group is seeking an experienced customer service professional to work at our beautiful 628-unit community, Stanford West Apartments! This is a great career opportunity in an ideal location!

Essential Functions

• Responsible for greeting prospects, guests and visitors as they arrive to our community
• Provide a personalized experience, with emphasis on care and convenience for our future and current residents
• Engage with residents, fostering an ongoing, positive relationship while confirming their expectations are being fulfilled
• Respond to resident complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner, making sure every situation handled ends with gratification
• Act as the communication center providing residents community happenings daily, weekly, or monthly via the computer portal and postings.
• Plan, promote and deliver resident events and activities ensuring resident’s find value outside the walls of their apartment home
• Identify, communicate and implement opportunities to improve resident happiness and service.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have 1 year of excellent customer service experience with ability to pass fair housing exam.
• Must have relevant experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbal.
• Experience with file audits, customer service and resident engagement a must!
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Must have knowledge of operations software used at the property level; Outlook, Internet software, EXCEL, and WORD.
• Current driver's license and auto insurance.
• Able to work weekends and overtime as job requires.

Salary is $26.00/hour. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a 401(K) match, rental incentive and renewal compensation, bonuses, and rental discounts depending on location. Regular full-time employees who work between 30-40 hours a week are eligible for medical, dental, vision, other voluntary benefits and vacation accrual. Sick time accrual is provided in accordance with law.
