Fairstead ESC LLC in New York is seeking a Resident Coordinator to provide support and referral services to residents in subsidized multifamily properties. You will monitor living conditions, coordinate programs, and measure impact to improve quality of life while tracking outcomes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated volunteer and community experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Positive outgoing attitude and excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient listener with excellent interpersonal skills, including tact and diplomacy.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite. Familiar with Family Metrics and Yardi.
• Able to present information clearly and respond to questions from management and residents.
• Able to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between Community Managers and residents for recertifications.
• Coordinate with NYCHA and residents to ensure compliance and deadlines.
• Prevent eviction through collaboration with management for at-risk households.
• Act as primary contact for residents, non-profits and city/state agencies for programs.
• Maintain records, track visits and calls, and manage correspondence.
• Support social services activities and maintain a resident resource directory.
• Assist with clerical tasks and office duties as needed.
