Job summary

The YMCA of the Roses is hiring a Customer Service Representative for the Men's Residence. You will greet residents and visitors, answer phones, and support daily operations at the front desk in a welcoming, respectful environment.

Responsibilities include processing payments, distributing mail, monitoring security, and assisting with emergencies. A high school diploma is preferred; excellent communication and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Experience working with a diverse population.
• Basic computer and phone skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents and visitors in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Answer the telephone system and direct calls to the proper extension.
• Process rental payments and record on the ledger, roster, and receipt.
• Prepare shift-to-shift change procedures.
• Distribute and collect keys from residents.
• Disperse mail to residents' mailboxes.
• Monitor cameras to ensure building security.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workstation.
• Know emergency procedures and contact appropriate staff.
• Participate in orientation and staff development.
• Participate in performance evaluations annually or as required.
• Help with other tasks as assigned.
