Responsibilities

• Provides continuous monitoring of the community to ensure a secure environment.
• Performs scheduled and random checks for security breaches.
• Locks external doors as scheduled.
• Checks doors and windows to ensure they are secure.
• Operates alarms (security, fire, maintenance) and inspects for malfunctions.
• Responds to emergencies and assists residents, visitors, and staff.
• Escorts staff during night or early morning hours.
• Delivers resident correspondence during security checks.
• Ensures vacant apartments are secure.
• Performs preventative maintenance tasks such as fire extinguisher checks and snow removal.
