Qualifications

• HIPAA guidelines knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Good judgment and timely decision-making.
• Ability to assess emergencies and respond.

Responsibilities

• Monitor clients, units, and grounds to ensure the safety of each resident.
• Examine items entering the facility to ensure safety for clients and staff.
• Record incidents and residents' grievances in logs and on incident reports.
• Maintain ongoing communication with department supervisors about social services issues.
• Manage entry logs to ensure all entrants are recorded and accounted for.
• Participate in site goals and objectives by recommending improvements.
• Assist clients with questions and resolve issues as they arise.
• Monitor video surveillance of all facility areas.
• Adhere to safety, health, and fire guidelines and procedures.
• Report immediate safety hazards to supervisory or maintenance staff.
• Work diplomatically to resolve issues that may arise.
• Provide coverage when necessary.
• May work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
