Job summary

Waters of Rockport is seeking a Housekeeper/Laundry Aide to maintain clean resident rooms and common areas and to manage resident linen and personal clothing per facility policies.

You will follow sanitation guidelines, assist in laundering and sorting clothing, and support daily housekeeping tasks under the Director of Housekeeping. English communication and independent work are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and ability to follow directions.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to work independently and set priorities.
• Must meet health assessment requirements (Mantoux).
• English communication skills (oral and written).
• Able to perform essential functions with reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, offices, and common areas; maintain safe, attractive environments.
• Handle laundry per sanitary guidelines; sort, wash, dry, fold, and return items.
• Move/arrange resident furniture as directed; adhere to cleaning schedules.
• Assist with dining area cleaning after meals and sanitize bathrooms.
• Follow all policies, safety rules, and code of conduct.
• Attend mandatory trainings and report to the Director of Housekeeping.
