Job summary

The Waters of Wakarusa is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Aide to keep resident rooms and facility areas clean and inviting in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. You will follow policy, maintain health and safety standards, and support residents by sustaining a tidy, comfortable environment.

English communication and ability to follow written directions are essential. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of housekeeping experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of housekeeping experience.
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions.
• Ability to set work priorities and work independently in the absence of supervision.
• Ability to meet health assessment requirements, including two-stage Mantoux skin test.
• Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms and other interior and exterior facility areas.
• Maintain a clean and attractive environment for our residents.
• Carry out assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.
• Set work priorities and work independently in the absence of supervision.
• Meet health assessment requirements, including two-stage Mantoux skin test.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and the ability to perform tasks required.
